Mindfulness has been described as "nonelaborative, nonjudgmental, present-centered awareness in which each thought, feeling, and sensation that arises is acknowledged and accepted as it is." Mindfulness practices transform how we relate to events and experiences, creating a more spacious way of being in a world that is less reactive and generally happier. Regular practice of mindfulness decreases heart rate, blood pressure, and other stress-related symptoms through cultivating awareness, appreciation of the present, and a non-judgmental, curious, and kind attitude. Additionally, in our emotional resilience workshops, we emphasize the importance of self-care workshops that include mindfulness techniques. Self Compassion is another area in which Bree supports the development of clients’ self-worth.
Wellbeing workshops are designed to enhance personal self-care, self-awareness, emotional processing, and resilience. These self-care workshops often incorporate a variety of holistic therapies, including mindfulness practices and art therapy, to bolster emotional resilience.
