This workshop is designed to support pre and postnatal couples with the challenges relationships face after the birth of a baby and their transition into parenthood.
Online Workshop- 2hrs.
Amid the focus on caring for the baby, many parents tend to neglect to prepare for the significant impact on their relationship, identify transformation, lifestyle changes, and coping strategies required for their journey into parenthood.
Research shows almost 1 in 3 partners fall into the clinical range of marital distress during the first 18 months after the birth of a baby with a decrease in love and an increase in conflict being reported. It is a time when we are challenged physically and mentally like no other and our need to be surrounded by supportive relationships is critical for not only parents but also babies with the relational space between parents being the foundational space for a child’s growth.
Mindful Monday is a weekly workshop where participants explore mindfulness through art and gain a better understanding of how to incorporate mindfulness into the everyday.

One of the most accurate explanations of mindfulness is being aware of the present moment without judgment. This involves focusing on the current moment without categorizing it as positive or negative. Learning and practicing mindfulness enhances focus and an overall sense of calm. Studies show mindfulness can boost happiness and well-being. Through discussion and guided mindfulness art activities, these workshops aim to impart fundamental mindfulness techniques to assist with everyday stress and enhance your emotional well-being.
Participants in this workshop deep dive into their values and discover the self-care practices that best suit their needs as well as how to integrate them into their daily routines.
Self-care involves dedicating time to activities that enhance your well-being and enhance your ability to cope with stress and external factors beyond your control. However, having an understanding of what is the right self-care for you is the most important aspect of self-care. Implementing small meaningful and personal self-care practices in your daily routine can yield significant benefits to your relationships and physical health.
